The Suspenders

At a drop of a hat I could say that they are the most amazing piece that fashion brought from the past years trends. If you don't know what they are, they are those large straps that you can attach or dettach from your bottoms. They can replace well the belt, can even be more comfortable. They come in a large number of styles. We have them already sewed to the bottom,The numerous styles they can dress is another plus that show you what a good investement are.

Short history sais that they were invented in 1820 by Albert Thurson. They were once almost universally worn, due to the high cut of mid-nineteenth and early twentieth century trousers that made a belt impractical. During the nineteenth century, suspenders were sometimes called galluses. Samuel Clemens, known for his work as the author  Mark Twain, patented "Adjustable and Detachable Straps for Garments,"(ADSG) becoming one of the first to receive a United States patent for suspenders in 1871. In the nineteenth cenury they lost popularity because the men were accoustomed to uniform belts,  Though the return of fuller-cut trousers in the 1940s revived suspenders, they did not dominate over belts again to the same extent. However, in the UK they remained the norm to wear with suits and dress trousers.

The nerdy trend is getting more and more attention, so you could use the suspenders in your advantage. They work well with almost everything: pants, jeans, shorts, skirts. Pair them with a simple crisp white shirt or a polo T-shirt, flats sandals or sneakers, and paint the town red.

Quick tip: the retro sunglasses and the suspenders are a match made in heaven.

You can also wear them with shorts and a crop top, that is certaintly a very sexy look, but can also be though as an inappropriate one, so choose well the width of the shorts, no booty shorts.
For a more feminine look pair and the skirt and suspenders with crop top/ shirt. In my opinion, a pencil skirt wouldn't flatter the suspenders, the pencil skirt is more mature and the suspenders tend to be more childish. But if you really want to wear them together chose a childish top, like Moschino's T-shirt or emoji's blouse.
The classical look of suspenders is with the high waisted pants and a crisp white shirt, you can never go wrong with that. Add classical pieces as accessories, like Oxfords and pearls, and bring the '88 back.
